Currently, I provide online 1-to-1 and small group customized Chinese Mandarin language tutoring. In-person lessons may be possible depending on scheduling but will incur an additional 1 hr. transportation charge.
Classes are typically 50 minutes in length with scheduling on a first-come basis.
General Tutoring Terms
Tuition Fees: Agreed tuition / 50 minutes (Required advance payment (5) sessions)
Session Cancellation Policy: A 100% tuition scheduling charge will be applied to sessions canceled within 24 hrs. of the scheduled session. Cancellation before 24 hrs. of the session will be rescheduled incurring no additional charge.
Tuition Payment: An email tuition invoice will be issued with payment link - payable via PayPal or Credit Card - upon agreeable tuition terms & conditions.
CHINESE CHARACTERS
The Chinese writing system is quite a challenge, but this is another reason to learn it! Despite its difficulty, learning to read and write Chinese will give you a lifetime of intellectual stimulation. The real beauty of the language is revealed in the writing. There are thousands of Chinese characters, but they are not randomly constructed. There is a system to their design, and understanding that system makes it much easier to learn new characters.
